I was 10 years old when WWII started and witnessed the systematic annihilation of the Jewish population of Europe - the Holocaust - the darkest event of the 20th century. Now that I have reached my 80th birthday, I want to make sure these horrors I endured and the lives lost will never be forgotten. The younger generations must be eternally vigilant and speak out against hate and prejudice in all its forms, everywhere. That is why we continue to present these Concert/Events that memorialize the victims of the Holocaust.
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your contribution is tax deductible. All contributions will be listed in the program and privileged seating is assured. You will be invited to the “Meet the Artists Space” where you can meet the artists and distinguished guests immediately following the Concert. For reserved seating, please send your contribution as soon as possible. Please make out your checks and mail them now.
We are proud to present an exhibit of Holocaust paintings by internationally renowned artist Mikhail Turovsky, recently titled People’s Artist of Ukraine.
As always, the Concert is free – all the more reason why advance contributions are needed. Bring your friends, family, and children. We look forward to greeting you at the Concert in the newly renovated Cathedral.
With many thanks,
Jerry Jacobs
Chairman and Executive Producer
