We are honored to feature poems by award winning Dutch Holocaust survivor Ida Vos in our U.S. premiere of “Yizkor.” As a child survivor, I feel that the Holocaust was the darkest event of the last century. The lives lost must not have been sacrificed in vain. That is why the Interfaith Committee of Remembrance (ICOR) continues through music and art to go beyond language to the soul of man to mark this horrific event, so that it will never be forgotten.
When we started these Concert/Events, I hoped but never dreamt, that one day we would be celebrating our 18th Concert of Remembrance. It takes a lot of effort, energy and money to produce these Concerts. We are asking you to show us your support and double your financial commitment to us so that we can continue to produce these memorable Events.
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your contribution is tax deductible. All contributions will be listed in the program and privileged seating is assured. You will be invited to the “Meet the Artists Space” where you can meet the artists and distinguished guests immediately following the Concert. For reserved seating, please send your contribution as soon as possible. Please make out your checks and mail them now.
As always, the Concert is free – all the more reason why advance contributions are needed. Bring your friends, family, and children. We look forward to greeting you there.
With many thanks,
Jerry Jacobs
Chairman and Executive Producer
